ugly day

I'm having a really ugly day today/I'm super grumpy so you probably don't want to see my face. I don't really have much to say other than the fact that I just wanna go back to bed and wait until term 3 starts when I can finally have some fun again at school rather than all this non-stop stress.

In the pictures of above the dress, shirt, and socks are from American Apparel, the leggings (that I had lost for a year and just found in my basement) are from Aritzia and my most cherished possession, my creepers, are from Devon shoes in Metrotown in which they sell the most bomb shoes and creepers in all sorts of different colours, I highly advise anyone to check it out

marketing shmarketing

Sigh, well it's wednesday today, the beginning of another school week and I have a marketing final exam today, sigh. I did so well on my first one but I know I'm just going to bomb it today. I'm feeling really exhausted lately so I hope I can just make it through the day with a smile on my face. I have an editorial shoot on friday that I'm really stressing out about so there's a lot of stuff to do right now. Busy, busy, busy.

In the pictures above I'm wearing my grandma's shirt. I love all of her clothes, an acid wash jean jacket from USED, a cord skirt from American Apparel, cream coloured knee high socks from american apparel, Deborah's blue American Apparel circle scarf, a green velvet twist scarf from American Apparel, glasses from H&M, the same $2 belt from Value Village that I've been wearing for the past week and green oxford shoes from Urban Outfitters

A little behind the scenes action

This is a preview of yesterday's shoot inspired by the characters of The Breakfast Club. The school I go to offers these photo shoot opportunities in which a fashion student can team up with a hair and make up student in order to create 3 different looks. As you can see, we did 5 because I needed to complete every character in the movie, no one could be left out! Two of my best friends were also involved in this shoot, my model is Mary Saunders and my photographer is Samuel Olsen and they are the very best and I am so thankful for them! Stay tuned for the finished product!

happy monday

It's Monday today and it's been a pretty lazy day. I was in pajamas for the most part but I decided maybe I'd put something presentable on because I'm FINALLY going to see The Descendants. After the Oscars last night, I realized that there were so many films I haven't seen yet, so yeah! I'm happy. Anyways, I'm wearing a vintage shirt that I bought at a clothing sale that was held at my school to help fundraise for their fashion show, holla. I'm wearing jean shorts that belong to Lea and I LOVE THEM, they fit perfectly and are actually really comfortable as far as jean shorts go. I'm wearing burgundy(even though you can't tell) socks from American Apparel, belt from Value Village, necklace from Forever 21 and of course my favourite black wedge heels from Zara. Anyways, happy monday folks! I'm off.

A gloomy outfit on a sunny day

This is an unusual outfit for me because usually I'm decked out in about a thousand different colours but I felt like giving this a try today. My friend Regan's mom found this dress in her closet and was gonna throw it out and thank god she didn't because I absolutely love it! Normally I look like an idiot in maxi dresses because I'm so short but when paired with these black wedge heels, it's not even an issue. The little leather vest I'm wearing is courtesy of my favourite little fashionista Lea and I believe it's from H&M, I'm wearing spandex leggings from American Apparel that I borrowed from my friend Alanna and the belt was $2 from Value Village. Talk about staying fashionable and barely spending any money. It's a good thing I have such fashionable friends.

bonjour lads and lasses

Alright, so this is my first post on this thing and those are always really awkward. I figured that it was about time I make a blog that's actually completely dedicated to my fashion and style life. I always try to make those kinds of blogs on tumblr but they always just turn into personal blogs, so I figured I might give this a try. Here's a little bit about me before I get started incase anyone is wondering....

My name is Celina, I'm turning 19 in May and I currently live in Vancouver, British Columbia or if you wanna get really technical, I'm actually from Langley but nobody really cares about that. I go to John Casablancas, where I study fashion and my passion really lies in styling. Although I have become more interested in the business aspect of the fashion world since I've started school. I'm essentially interested in getting into any kind of fashion field once I've graduated. I'm really excited for all of my dreams to start coming true because I have some pretty big plans for my future and I look froward to documenting my journey through this blog.
